When we started developing Traveller Socks, one thing was non-negotiable: product quality.
A travel sock may look like a simple accessory. But creating a product that combines comfort, fit, softness and graduated compression requires genuine textile expertise.
We met several manufacturers, visited different factories and explored production capabilities across Europe — and beyond.
In the end, we chose Portugal.
Portugal: a recognised textile expertise
Portugal has built a strong international reputation for high-quality textile manufacturing, combining craftsmanship, technical expertise and modern production capabilities.
For Traveller Socks, manufacturing in Portugal gives us access to experienced teams who understand exactly what we expect from the product: carefully selected materials, precise knitting, consistent construction and attention to finishing.
But we were not simply looking for a supplier.
We wanted a manufacturing partner who understood our vision and shared our level of commitment to quality.
That relationship has been essential from the very beginning.
Travel socks designed with a purpose
Traveller Socks was created around a simple idea: making long hours of travel more comfortable.
That means paying attention to details that may seem small individually, but make a real difference when a product is worn for several hours.
Our travel socks feature:
- 15–20 mmHg graduated compression for travel comfort;
- a cotton-rich composition for softness against the skin;
- an ergonomic construction;
- a seamless toe;
- secure yet comfortable support;
- several sizes for a more precise fit.
Every element has been considered with the traveller in mind — whether the journey is made by plane, train or car.
For us, comfort is not an additional feature.
It is where the product starts.
Understanding before producing
We wanted to spend time inside the factory.
To meet the people making our products.
To understand the machinery, the materials and every stage of the manufacturing process.
From yarn selection and knitting to graduated compression consistency, finishing and quality control, producing a technical sock requires precision at every step.
Being close to our Portuguese manufacturing partner also allows us to exchange ideas quickly, review details and continue improving the product as Traveller Socks develops.
We believe that understanding how a product is made is an essential part of building a credible premium brand.
Details make the difference
Product quality is ultimately built through a succession of details.
The selection of the yarn.
The precision of the knitting.
The consistency of the graduated compression.
